A Tribute To Seth Riggs

Badiene had over 16 teachers throughout her career and voice training. She knew that each had a piece of the puzzle but no one seemed to have solved the whole puzzle. Then, she was blessed to have had met her mentor, Seth Riggs, the master who developed Speech Level Singing™ (SLS). As her guide, he showed her how to teach, how to develop voices! Over 110 Grammy Awards were given to stars including Michael Jackson, Josh Groban, Stevie Wonder and Natalie Cole, all artists using this technique!
Badiene studied SLS with Seth Riggs for many years and was invited by Seth to become his first certified SLS teacher in the NYC area. She has successfully coached singers, dancers, and actors in every aspect of musical performance, contributing her expertise at the Speech Level Singing Institute in Los Angeles.
Although she continues to express her gratitude and appreciation to Seth for his tutelage, Badiene resigned from the Speech Level Singing Association in 2006 to expand her teaching horizons and incorporate knowledge gained from a variety of sources. Using Speech Level Singing™ exercises as a cornerstone, Badiene begin to experiment and develop additional technical and practical tools the she herself found efficient and effective in her studio.
Combining her extensive professional education with her vast performance experience, Badiene incorporates programs not only for vocal technique, but also for developing the student as a total artist, mind, body and soul. She is highly respected as one of the most effective vocal technicians and performance coaches in the industry.
